What is the best way to order? Can I order directly from you?

You may place your order directly with WheelChair Carrier or with a local WheelChair Carrier dealer.
If installation is required for the product you wish to purchase, your local dealer may be
able to perform the installation for you. Please visit the "Find a Dealer" page to find a

How can I pay for the order?
|
WheelChair Carrier accepts the following methods of payment; Mastercard, Visa, C.O.D.,
personal check or money order. Retail customers, payment must be made in full at
time of order.

Will Medicare cover the cost of wheelchair carriers?
|
Medicare does not cover the cost of wheelchair carriers at this time.
|

Will my insurance cover the cost of a wheelchair carrier?
|
Your medical insurance provider may provide coverage for wheelchair
carriers and accessories. You will need to contact
your medical insurance provider or review your insurance guidelines.
|

Are there any vehicle modification rebates available?
|
Yes, some of the top automobile manufacturers such as
General Motors, Ford and DaimlerChrysler offer vehicle modification or mobility programs. These programs
are for those who wish to modify a new vehicle that has been purchased within the last six months. Several of the
mobility programs offer vehicle modification rebates for new automobiles purchased within one year.

Will I receive a confirmation of my order?
|
If you faxed or emailed your order (Please refer to the "How to Order" Page), WheelChair Carrier will send you an acknowledgment within 24 hours.
We generally do not send acknowledgments for phone orders, however, if you provide us with an email address
we can send an order acknowlegment via email upon your request.
WheelChair Carrier also sends "Shipment Notification" emails (if email is provided)
that includes the order shipment date, a tracking number and a link that will allow you to track your shipment.
Please Note: WheelChair Carrier uses your email address for ordering purposes only unless otherwise requested.

How long will it take to receive my order?
|
Most orders ship the next business day after your order is placed.
Our current shipment method is Fedex Ground and it may take up to 5-7 days to receive your
order depending upon where you live in the U.S.

What if I need to receive my order sooner than the standard delivery time?
|
If the item(s) for your order are available and the order is placed early in the day,
we can ship your order Fedex Next Day Air or Second Day Air. Please Please contact our
Customer Service Department for expedited shipping
rates.

Can you ship to PO or APO boxes?
|
Because our products ship via Fedex, we are unable to ship to PO or APO boxes.

What is the cost for shipping?
|
The cost of shipping will vary depending on the weight of the order and the location
to where the order is being shipped. Please contact our Customer Service Department
to obtain the shipping cost for your order.

What is the cost for sales tax?
|
Only residents of Ohio will be charged sales tax. If you live in Ohio, you will be
charged the Lucas County & Ohio State sales tax rate which is currently 7.25%.

Do you have distributors outside the U.S.? (Can you ship to locations other than the United States?)

At this time, we do not have distributors outside the United States.
However, we ship our products to any worldwide location requested.

We typically provide freight quotes the same day or the next business day.
