What is the best way to order? Can I order directly from you?
You may place your order directly with WheelChair Carrier by calling us at (800) 541-3213 or visit the "How to Order" page for other ordering methods.

How can I pay for the order?
WheelChair Carrier accepts the following methods of payment; Mastercard, Visa, American Express, C.O.D., personal check or money order. Retail customers, payment must be made in full at time of order.

Will Medicare cover the cost of wheelchair carriers?
Medicare does not cover the cost of wheelchair carriers at this time.

Will my insurance cover the cost of a wheelchair carrier?
Your medical insurance provider may provide coverage for wheelchair carriers and accessories. You will need to contact your medical insurance provider or review your insurance guidelines.

Are there any vehicle modification rebates available?
Yes, some of the top automobile manufacturers such as General Motors, Ford and DaimlerChrysler offer vehicle modification or mobility programs. These programs are for those who wish to modify a new vehicle that has been purchased within the last six months. Several of the mobility programs offer vehicle modification rebates for new automobiles purchased within one year. Please visit the "Rebate Programs" page for more information.

Will I receive a confirmation of my order?
If you faxed or emailed your order (Please refer to the "How to Order" Page), WheelChair Carrier will send you an acknowledgment within 24 hours. We generally do not send acknowledgments for phone orders, however, if you provide us with an email address we can send an order acknowlegment via email upon your request.

Please Note: WheelChair Carrier uses your email address for ordering purposes only unless otherwise requested. We do not distribute your email information or send unsolicited emails. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.


How long will it take to receive my order?
Most orders ship the next business day after your order is placed. Our current shipment method is UPS Ground and it may take up to 5-7 days to receive your order depending upon where you live in the U.S.

What if I need to receive my order sooner than the standard delivery time?
If the item(s) for your order are available and the order is placed early in the day, we can ship your order UPS Next Day Air or Second Day Air. Please Please contact our Customer Service Department for expedited shipping rates.

Can you ship to PO or APO boxes?
Because our products ship via UPS, we are unable to ship to PO or APO boxes.

What is the cost for shipping?
Please note the following shipping & handling charges:

$7.50 added charge for all COD orders.
$2.00 added charge per package for Residential delivery.
$5.00 handling charge to all orders under $100
$10 handling charge to all orders over $100

The total cost of shipping will vary depending on the weight of the order and the location to where the order is being shipped. Please contact our Customer Service Department to obtain the shipping cost for your order.

Do you have distributors outside the U.S.? (Can you ship to locations other than the United States?)
At this time, we do not have distributors outside the United States. However, we ship our products to any worldwide location requested. Please feel free to contact our Customer Service Department for information regarding shipping costs to your location. Please provide in your correspondance your full shipping address including postal code, the item number(s) you wish to order with the item(s) description. We typically provide freight quotes the same day or the next business day.
